I am currently available to fulfill requests for custom paintings and/or drawings. Please note that I have an active waiting list; however all commissions are fulfilled in a prompt and professional manner, so please don't hesitate to request that perfect painting or drawing you've always wanted :) If you would like a commissioned piece by a certain date, please be sure to contact me with ample time in advance (especially during the holidays), since 100% client satisfaction is my ultimate and primary goal.

I frequently work on various commissions, paintings, drawings, portraits, and more, and I'm always interested in considering new commission, design, and business opportunities. I'm also always happy to consider commissions that deal with reference photographs or just pure imagination :)

If you would like me to create a drawing or painting based on a specific photograph, please make sure the reference photo is detailed and an adequate size, so that I, in turn, can create a detailed drawing or painting for you :) I accept both digital and physical photographs, (whichever works best for you), and I can usually finish a commissioned piece in one to two weeks, depending on the size and details of the piece.

I require a 50% deposit before I start any work to cover material costs. Throughout the process, I frequently email photos of the work in progress (WIP) so that you are frequently informed of how your painting or drawing is coming along (this is also when revisions take place). Upon completion of the drawing or painting, I will send you an email with a photo of the finished piece and make preparations to ship the artwork to you. The other 50% will be requested at this point and upon receiving payment, the commission piece will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Please note: I prefer to accept PayPal as a form of payment (credit cards are accepted through PayPal as well); however, I do accept checks and money orders as well, but please be aware I hold off on shipping artwork until the payment is cleared by the bank/post office.

Please note that the following prices are subject to change and largely depend on the number of subjects in a portrait.

Graphite drawings
6" x 6" - $100.00
11" x 8.5" - $150.00 - $200.00
11" x 14" - $200.00 - $250.00
14" x 17" - $250.00 - $300.00

Pastel paintings
6" x 6" - $200.00
11" x 7.5" - $250.00 - $300.00
11" x 14" - $300.00 - $350.00
14" x 17" - $350.00 - $400.00

Please email me at smi2106@gmail.com to request the commissioned piece, mentioning both the medium (graphite or pastels) and the size you want. Please don't forget to send the reference photograph as an attachment and I will reply back to you as soon as possible to start the process.

If sending a reference photograph by postal service:
Please email me at smi2106@gmail.com to let me know you are sending a reference photograph through the mail. Please let me know the medium and size you would like the commissioned piece to be and I will reply back to you as soon as possible to start the process.
